Men's Soccer Downs Jefferson for First Victory

The Alfred State College men's soccer was able to get the offense going and downed Jefferson CC 2-0 to register their first victory of the 2009 season.  ASC is now 1-3 on the season.

The Pioneers got goals from Jason Durst (Gates Chili) and Koya Takadama (Fukushima, Japan) while Daniel Krajcir (Gloversville) made two saves for the shutout.  Kevin Arilotta (Churchville Chili) and Caleb Drake (Jasper Troupsburg) were credited with assists.

ASC hosts Bryant & Stratton on Tuesday at Pioneer Stadium.  Opening kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. following the women's contest.
