Late Goal lifts FLCC past Pioneers

Finger Lakes CC's Ryan Phillips capitalized a great corner kick with 6:19 left in regulation to lift the Lakers to a 1-0 victory over Alfred State at Pioneer Stadium on Thursday afternoon.  FLCC improves to 3-2-2 on the season while ASC falls to 0-3.

Alfred State had a few chances early on but Shane Conley made excellent saves to keep the game scoreless.  He finished the shutout victory with 10 saves.

Daniel Krajcir (Gloversville) made five saves in goal for the Pioneers.

The blue & gold will look to get on track on Saturday when they travel to Jefferson CC for a 3 p.m. contest with the Cannoneers.
