Psi Beta National Honor Society Inductees

Psi Beta National Honor Society in psychology inductees with faculty adviser

Six Alfred State College students were recently inducted into the college's chapter of the Psi Beta National Honor Society in psychology.

The new inductees are Ashley Tisdale, Olean, liberal arts and sciences: social science; Edwin Stratton, Canisteo, human services; Bethany Kelly, Delevan, human services; Angela Outman, Wellsville, nursing; Anna Graham, Wellsville, liberal arts and sciences: social science; and Danielle Hanchett, Belmont, liberal arts and sciences: social science.

Professor Joseph D. Foreman serves as the faculty adviser to the honor society chapter.  Psi Beta chapters sponsor programs, activities, and participation in community service projects.  Students in Psi Beta must maintain a grade point average of 3.0, as well as maintaining a grade point average of 3.0 for nine hours of psychology.

Psi Beta is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is an affiliate of the American psychological Association and the American Psychological Society.
