Genesee Downs Lady Pioneers

Genesee CC shot 48% from the field as they knocked off the Alfred State women's basketball team 106-54 in a WNYAC match-up on Thursday.  The Lady Pioneers fall to 8-10 overall and 3-3 in Region III Division II games.

Brittney Brooks (Elmira Free) led the way with 19 points and nine rebounds.  Sherelle Brooks  (Elmira Free) chipped in 7, Christina Loder (Brantford, ONT) finished with six points, six rebounds, and five assists, and Shawna McNeil (Hornell) came off the bench and added six points.

The Lady Pioneers continue their two week road trip on Saturday with a 1 p.m. start at Niagara CCC.
