Lady Pioneers Down Elmira JV

The Alfred State College women's basketball team raced out to a 37-16 lead at halftime en route to a 57-47 victory over Elmira JV on Sunday afternoon.  The win snaps a two game slide and improves the Lady Pioneers to 4-6 on the season.

Gina Moss (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) led the way with 11 points while Brittney Brooks (Elmira Free) added 10 point.s.  Christina Loder (Brantford, ONT) chipped in 9 points and Ayana Rhodes (Buffalo/East Ridge) finished with 8.

ASC returns to the court for the final time in 2008 when they host Genesee CC on Tuesday evening.  Opening tip-off at the Orvis Activities Center is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
