Pioneers Fall in Another Close One

For the second day in a row the Alfred State College men's basketball team lost a close battle in Ohio.  Sunday, the Pioneers fell 75-71 to Lakeland (Kirtland, OH) CC.  ASC is now 2-4 on the season.

Travis Brannen (Elmira Free) recorded a double-double finishing with a team high 16 points and 10 rebounds.  Dan Foley (Irondequoit) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds while Chris Lorenzo (Syracuse/Corcoran) added 12 points.  Chris Dalton (Elmira Southside) also finished in double-figures with 10 points.

ASC trailed 45-38 at halftime.

The Pioneers return to action on Tuesday when they host Cayuga CC at 7:30 p.m.
