President Dr. John M. Anderson Appeared on Rochester's 13 WHAM-TV

President Anderson with WHAM’s morning news team Holly Maynard and Evan DawsonAlfred State College President Dr. John M. Anderson appeared on Rochester's 13 WHAM-TV recently to discuss his involvement in the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) conference held late last month.  The interview allowed Anderson to delineate the four focus areas for this year's conference:  education, energy and climate change, global health, and poverty alleviation.  He also credited the hundreds of global leaders-political and business leaders, philanthropists, and entertainers whose sincere involvement in these issues has helped the CGI raise over $25 billion in four years.  Anderson also noted that as a result of this conference, he is exploring new ways for Alfred State College students and the expertise their professors possess can contribute to these focus areas.
