Football Adds Game

The Alfred State College football team has added one more contest to the 2008 schedule.  The Pioneers will travel to SUNY Brockport on Monday October 13th to take on the JV Golden Eagles.  Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Special Olympics Stadium.

The Pioneers and JV Eagles have played in every year since 2000 and have played a total of nine times with the Blue and Gold coming out on top in each of the match-ups.  The Pioneers defeated Brockport 56-14 last season.

The additional game will give the team their traditional ten game schedule and will prove to the busiest stretch of the season as the game will be the middle contest of three in a span of nine days.

The Pioneers have this weekend off before traveling to Dean College on October 11th for a Noon kickoff with the Bulldogs.
