Men Ranked 5th, Women 6th in latest Track Poll

The Alfred State College outdoor track and field team remains in the top ten of the latest NJCAA Division III poll.  The men are currently ranked #5 while the women are ranked #6.

The Pioneers finally got the outdoor season started after two false starts due to poor weather on Sunday.  Numerous athletes qualified for the Regional Championships and the National Championships at the University of Rochester Invitational. 

The Blue and Gold will have two chances this week to compete as they travel to Houghton College on Thursday for the Highlander Invitational and back to the University of Rochester on Sunday.

Harper (IL) College is currently ranked #1 on the men's side while the College of DuPage (IL) is top on the women.  The NJCAA Division III Championships are May 8-10 at SUNY Delhi.
