Dr. John M. Anderson and Wife Guests of Honor at Reception

Alfred State College's new president Dr. John M. Anderson, left, and his wife Vivien were the guests of honor at a recent reception hosted by the Alfred State College Council and Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce on the School of Applied Technology campus, where they renewed acquaintances with old friends and former colleagues and met new friends as part of their re-introduction to the area. Anderson assumed his duties March 1, 2008, as the 11^th president of the college following a five-year absence during which he broadened his leadership experiences in higher education at two very different types of institutions.
