Communications Office Wins in Admissions Advertising Awards Competition

Alfred State College's Office of Communications has been notified that it was named a recipient of four awards in the 23rd Annual Admissions Advertising Awards Competition, sponsored by the Admissions Marketing Report publication. Winning entries included the ASC student view book (Come for a Visit then Decide); the ASC student life brochure (Life at Alfred State); and a single spot television commercial (featuring alumnus Conroy Parchment, 2005) which all garnered silver awards, and the Athletics Brochure which captured a bronze.

Entries were judged by a national panel of admissions' marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals and the editorial board of Admissions Marketing Report for overall creativity, marketing execution, and impact of message.

The college competed among private and public universities across the United States in Business, Trade/Vocational School classification.

The Admissions Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country.  This year, 2,000 entries were received from more than 1,000 colleges, universities, and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries.
