ASC 11-better than Dean

The Alfred State College men's basketball team bounced back from a tough loss on Saturday with a hard fought 60-49 win over Dean College on Sunday afternoon.  With the win the Blue and Gold improve to 9-4 on the year.

Dusty Marshall (Newfield) continued his solid play as of late with 14 points (3 three-pointers) to lead the offensive attack.  Cerrone Jackson (Forrest Hills) added 12 points while Dan Foley (Irondequoit) chipped in 10 points.

ASC held a 25-24 lead at halftime and the game was back and forth until the final ten minutes when the Pioneers were able to push their lead into double-digits.

A-State returns to action on Tuesday with a 8 p.m. road contest at Finger Lakes CC.  They wrap up the 2007 portion of their schedule on Saturday with a 3 p.m. contest versus Orange CCC.
