Lady Pioneers even up record

The Alfred State College women's basketball team evened up their record with a 67-43 victory over Cayuga CC on Tuesday evening.  The Lady Pioneers are improve to 2-2 on the year while the Lady Spartans fall to 2-2.

Tiffany McLaughlin (Wellsville) recorded her fourth straight double-digit scoring game to start the season with a game-high 27 points.  She has now scored 93 points in the Lady Pioneers four games.

Anthia Smith (Elmira Free) added 10 points and Desaundra Carr (Brooklyn/Boys & Girls) finished with eight points.

The Lady Pioneers have nearly a week off before taking on the JV squad from the University of Rochester on Monday, November 19.  Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
