McLaughlin Named Pre-season All-American

Alfred State College sophomore basketball player Tiffany McLaughlin (Wellsville) has been named to the NJCAA Division II pre-season All-American team.  McLaughlin was a 2nd team selection.

McLaughlin averaged 14.1 points (395 total points) in 28 games last season.  She added 5.9 rebounds (164 total), 52 assists, and 41 steals on the year.  She was the MVP of the Erie CC Lady Kat Classic and All-Tournament team for the ASC and Region III Division II Tournament.

Following the Lady Pioneers 19-10 season she was named to the All-Region 1st team.

McLaughlin and the 2007-08 Pioneers open up play on November 6 when they travel to Broome CC.  Opening tip is scheduled for 6 p.m.
