Lady Spikers move up three spots

The Alfred State College volleyball team has moved up three spots to #6 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll.  The Lady Pioneers have won eleven straight contests and are 19-2 on the year.

In their past two matches the Lady Pioneers have downed two of the top team's in Region III.  Last Thursday, the Blue and Gold downed #10 Corning CC 3-2 and last night they downed honorable mention Jamestown CC 3-1.

The Lady Pioneers were ranked #6 in the preseason poll and were ranked as high as #7 during the regular season poll.

ASC host Mercyhurst North East in another WNYAC contest on Thursday evening at 6 p.m.
