Lady Pioneers double up NCCC

The Alfred State College women's soccer team doubled up Niagara CCC 6-3 in WNYAC action on Saturday afternoon.  The Lady Pioneers improve to 4-5-1 on the year.

Brittany Hannah (Eastridge) scored two goals while Jody Ninos (Alfred Almond), Caitlin Neil (Alfred Almond), Lindsay Brownson (Chittenango), and Holly Fitzpatrick (Hornell) scored goals for ASC.  It was Neil's and Brownson's first goal of the season.

Philicia Harris (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) made four saves in net for the Lady Pioneers.

The contest was tied at 2-2 at half but ASC outscored NCCC 4-1 in the second half.

ASC returns to action on Tuesday when they travel to Jamestown Olean for a 4 p.m. contest with the Lady Jaguars.
