Buranich Wins WNY Nursery and Landscape Assoc Scholarship

Alfred State College ornamental horticulture-landscape development student Matthew Buranich, Orchard Park, was awarded a scholarship by the Western New York Nursery and Landscape Association. The association awards scholarships to students studying in the nursery and landscape field who are top in their class. Lynn DuPuis, assistant professor, Agriculture and Horticulture Department and landscape program director, says, "Matt has a bright future ahead of him. He's a good student who steps up to the plate and will be an asset to the green industry. We are glad to have Matt here studying at Alfred State."
