Hannah and Falkner Named Athletes of the Week

Soccer players Brittany Hannah (Eastridge) and Dustin Falkner (Letchworth) have been named the Alfred State College athletes of the week.

Hannah scored five goals and passed out two assists in the Lady Pioneers 2-0 week.  Versus Mercyhurst North East on Tuesday she netted two goals and passed out an assist in the 6-0 win.  Hannah recorded her first collegiate hat trick on Saturday in a 6-3 victory over Jamestown CC.  She also passed out another assist.  For the year she leads the team with eight goals and two assists.

Falkner scored all four of the Pioneers goals this week as the team split a pair of games.  Falkner scored both goals in a 3-2 overtime loss at Mercyhurst North East.  He then scored a goal in each half in the Blue and Gold's 2-0 victory over Corning CC.  Falkner hadn't scored a goal heading into this week.
