ASC shuts out Corning

The Alfred State College men's soccer team won their third straight Region III Division III contest with a 2-0 victory over Corning CC on Thursday afternoon.  With the win the Pioneers are now 3-5-1 overall and 3-4-1 in Region III Division III play.

Dustin Falkner (Letchworth) scored both goals for the Pioneers.  He netted a goal in the 1st half after getting a pass from Dom Bisone (Tonawanda).  Falkner's 2nd half goal was assisted by Jordan Angie (Marion).

Falkner has scored all four of the Pioneers goals this week.

Josh Kashuba (Marathon) made five saves to record the shutout.  The Pioneers all three wins on the season have been shutouts.

The Pioneers have six days off before hosting Monroe CC on Wednesday September 26 in a WNYAC contest.  The contest is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
