Pios fall in OT

Dean Brown scored on a header with 3:56 remaining in the first overtime to lift Mercyhurst North East to a 3-2 victory over Alfred State on Tuesday afternoon.  With the win the Saints improve to 5-2 while the Pioneers fall to 2-5-1.

After a scoreless 1st half, Mercyhurst's Brandon Gray scored with 27 minutes remaining in regulation to put the Saints up.

Dustin Falkner (Letchworth) wasted no time getting ASC even with a goal a minute and a half later. Falkner put Alfred up with a goal with 17 minutes left.

Brown socred his first goal of the season to  tie game with just under eight minutes left.

The Blue and Gold return to action on Thursday when they travel to Corning CC for a 4 p.m. contest versus the Red Barons.
