TCCC downs Alfred State

Danielle Hiza scored three goals and registered an assist as the Tompkins Cortland CC women's soccer team downed Alfred State 6-1 in the rain on Tuesday afternoon.  TCCC improves to 4-1 while ASC falls to 1-2-1.

TCCC out-shot Alfred 9 to 3 in the 1^st half and built a 4-0 lead.  Hiza's second goal made it 5-0 before Holly Fitzpatrick (Hornell) scored after getting a pass from Callie Ayers (Letchworth).  Hiza 3^rd goal capped the scoring.

The Panthers finished with a 17 to 5 advantage on shots.  TCCC goaltender Casey Ebeling made two saves while Philicia Harris (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) made seven saves for ASC.

The Lady Pioneers travel to Jefferson CC on Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest with the Lady Cannoneers.
