Lady Pioneers fall at FLCC

The Alfred State College women's soccer team ran out of gas on Sunday versus Finger Lakes CC.  The Lady Lakers scored the game's first six goals en route to an 8-2 victory.  ASC was playing their 3rd game in four days and falls to 1-1-1 on the season.

Renee Smith paced the Laker offensive attack with two goals and two assists.  FLCC broke open a scoreless game with three goals in the final 5:21 of the 1st half.

Brittany Hannah (Eastridge) and Jody Ninos (Alfred Almond) picked up goals in the second half for the Lady Pioneers.

ASC will return to action on Tuesday when they host Tompkins Cortland CC.  The game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. on the Mullen Hill Road Field.
