Tyler and Waters named All-WNYAC

Nichole Tyler (Spencer Van Etten) and Becky Waters (Elmira Heights) have been selected to represent Alfred State on the All-Western New York Athletic Conference team.  Tyler was named a 1st team infielder while Waters was named to the 2nd team.

Tyler led the Lady Pioneers with a .398 batting average (33 for 83).  She collected three doubles, two triples, and two home runs.  She scored 23 runs, drove in 23 runs, and stole seven bases.

Waters was 2nd on the Lady Pioneers with a .360 batting average (31 for 86).  She finished the season with six doubles, two triples, and a team high 24 RBI.  She scored 16 runs and stole six bases.

ASC finished the season 16-14.
