Bova and Wensel named All-WNYAC

Lacrosse players Jeremiah Bova (Salamanca) and Mitch Wensel (Corning East) have added another recognition to their freshmen campaigns.  Both Bova and Wensel were named to the All-Western New York Athletic Conference team.

Bova appeared in net in all ten games for the Blue and Gold and made nine starts.  He logged 476 minutes, made 192 saves, and finished with a save percentage of 66%.

Wensel scored 21 goals ans passed out six assists to lead the Pioneers in goals, assists, and points.  Wensel finished the year with four hat-tricks and three of his goals were game-winners.  

A-State finished the year 3-7.
