Nursing Pinning 2007

Alfred State College nursing students celebrated their accomplishments the night before commencement by attending the annual nurses' pinning ceremony. During the ceremony, the Florence Nightingale Candle is lighted, honoring the founder of modern nursing. The pinning ceremony is the culmination of the years of study and hard work graduating nursing students have invested in preparation for their chosen career.
