Alfred State Campus Recreation will be offering students an opportunity to sign up for an extended orientation July 9-11. This will include a two-night stay in cabins in the Adirondacks. While in the Adirondacks, students will enjoy a white water rafting trip, hiking, and connecting with new students. The total cost of this trip is $50 per student.
Students will arrive on campus Monday, July 8 for orientation and will spend the night on campus before departing for the Adirondacks July 9 at 7 a.m. Students should pack clothes to get wet, water shoes, and hiking boots. The recreation department will provide all necessary gear and equipment.
After returning to campus on July 11, students will have the option to stay on campus until the morning of July 12 before returning home.
