The CSA fee creates a debit account that you can access with your Student ID card. When used in our bookstores, it allows you to purchase whatever you'd like without having to carry cash, or go through a long and cumbersome charge process.
A Campus Spending Account is available to every student. It appears as a fee on your College bill. You may change the amount, increase or decrease it, or delete it totally from your bill. The amount that appears on your bill each semester is a rough estimate of what the average student may need. Some students in certain curriculums will need much more, some less. The best thing to do is to ask, either at our campus store, or ask a faculty member in your curriculum.
The Campus Spending Account can be used for the following:
At the end of the first semester, if you should have a balance in your CSA account, it will be rolled over to the second semester. If you should withdraw, one of two things will happen with your CSA balance. If all College bills are paid, your CSA balance will be refunded to you by check at the home address in the College's records at the end of the semester. If your College bills are not paid, the balance in your CSA will be adjusted off your bills, reducing your obligation to the College. The same process will occur at the end of the Spring semester if you have a balance remaining of over $20 in your CSA account. CSA balances do not roll over from year to year.
Like a credit card or bank debit card, if you return merchandise, any credit will be made back to your CSA account, and no cash refund will be given.
