Overdue notices are issued as a courtesy to all library users. However, non-receipt of an overdue notice does not exempt a borrower from applicable fines or billings. To avoid overdue notices, fines, and bills please renew your material before the date stamped in each item or return an item before the due date.
Upon receipt of a third notice, holds will be placed on the borrower's library account and student record. These holds will restrict borrowing privileges at the Library and will prohibit the borrower requesting transcripts until the fines and fees are paid.
Items that are not returned 21 days following the first notice will be assumed lost. The borrower will be billed for the replacement cost of the item or, if not available, the cost of a comparable item, plus a processing fee of $25. The Library may assess a higher replacement cost in special circumstances. Replacement costs may be credited if the item(s) are returned in good condition.

Students who fail to return library material to the library at the end of the semester will have their library privileges restricted and a hold will be placed on their student account (Banner) that will prohibit them from requesting transcripts until the books have been returned or the replacement costs have been paid.
