Hewitt, a graduate of Englewood (NJ) High School, came to Alfred State College in 2004 as a quarterback. Before even thinking about taking a snap under center the Pioneers coaching staff decided to take advantage of Hewitt's athleticism and moved him to the defensive side of the ball.
Brett Bodine has taken a rather different road in life, a steeply-banked blacktop road in two-mile lengths, with an ever-present left curve just ahead. And in Brett’s world, “a reasonable pace” means pushing a 750-horsepower car to speeds of nearly 200 miles per hour for hundreds of miles almost every weekend. All new and transfer students for fall semester will register for their classes during summer orientation. New students for the spring semester as well as all re-admit students will receive information in their acceptance packets on how to register for classes.
