If you work in mental health, addiction services, health care, or even in the animal care field, you are faced everyday with life's tragedies. How does the stress affect you? Can you walk away from it or do you take it home? How do you keep a healthy balance and what is this thing called "compassion fatigue"? How does compassion fatigue differ from depression, burn out, and stress? This four-hour workshop is designed for front-line workers in the helping field to help them stay mentally and physically healthy as they work to help others.

Instructor: Wendy Dresser-Recktenwald
