Our laboratories provide students with ample hands-on experience, giving them a considerable edge in the highly competitive computer and information technology job market. The building construction laboratory is equipped with nearly every power and hand construction tool available to instruct the student in all phases of the carpentry trade. Off-campus construction of frame buildings is carried out each year by the department so that students have a maximum amount of on-the-job experience.
