The Alfred State College Institute for Sustainability will deliver agriculture education and training through the Institute's Center for Organic and Sustainable Agriculture. Center for Organic and Sustainable Agriculture activities and products will be driven by the following vision and mission:
Independently operated, sustainable farms will provide New Yorkers with affordable, healthy food, and reinvest income in New York communities.
The Center for Organic and Sustainable Agriculture will educate and train students to create sound farm businesses, grow high-quality foods, sustain their environment, and directly market products to consumers.
