Goal 3: Increase Educational Opportunities

COSA provides educational opportunities not only to traditional Alfred State College agriculture students, but also to members of the community throughout Western New York. With the growing interest in local agriculture and organic food, the COSA facilities are available to help the public understand these timely and far-reaching subjects.

Through field days, workshops, pasture walks, and short courses, COSA can provide educational opportunities on a continuing basis to adults and non-traditional students.
