Program Advantages: 

The computer science program was one of the originally established programs in the SUNY system. It's a comprehensive program, which includes both the study of the underlying theories of computing as well as the specific applications of information manipulation and problem solving. Students will learn and demonstrate:

  • Effective communication
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Creation of software design and implementation with current programming languages
  • Creation of functional web pages
