Alfred State Architectural Students Win the Storm Housing 2008 TCA/PCA National Design Competition

Three Pioneers Earn Cross Country All-American

Three Alfred State cross country runners earned All-American honors at the NJCAA Division III National Championship in Lincoln, RI.  John Sweeney (Barker) earned Second Team honors with a ninth place finish (28:32).  Ashley Fung (Greenwich) and Kaleigh Ligoci (Cicero-North Syracuse) each earned Honorable Mention with 12th place (21:09) and 13th place (21:12) respectively.

ASC’s Tyrell Named by ACPA as a 2009 ACPA Foundation Diamond Honoree

Lady Pioneers Make it Back to Back Championships

Region III Champions - VolleyballIt took 30 years for the Alfred State College volleyball program to return to the NJCAA National Championships but with a highly competitive victory over Jamestown CC (30-28, 25-22, 25-13), the Lady Pioneers will return to Rochester, MN for the second straight season.  ASC will enter the tournament with a 36-3 mark.

The Communications Office of Alfred State College has recently been notified that its admissions promotional materials captured a coveted Platinum Award in the recent MarCom award competition, while the view book garnered a Gold Award, and Invitation Tuesday Tours and the Web site home page each won an Honorable Mention.

Health Information Technology Graduates Achieve 100 Percent Pass Rate
