Three Alfred State cross country runners earned All-American honors at the NJCAA Division III National Championship in Lincoln, RI. John Sweeney (Barker) earned Second Team honors with a ninth place finish (28:32). Ashley Fung (Greenwich) and Kaleigh Ligoci (Cicero-North Syracuse) each earned Honorable Mention with 12th place (21:09) and 13th place (21:12) respectively.

recently honored by the ACPA (American College
Personnel Association) Educational Leadership
Foundation as a 2009 ACPA Foundation Diamond Honoree, for his outstanding and
sustained contributions to higher education and student affairs.

College Personnel Association) Educational Leadership Foundation as a 2009 ACPA
Foundation Diamond Honoree, for his outstanding and sustained contributions to

It took 30 years for the Alfred State College volleyball program to return to the NJCAA National Championships but with a highly competitive victory over Jamestown CC (30-28, 25-22, 25-13), the Lady Pioneers will return to Rochester, MN for the second straight season. ASC will enter the tournament with a 36-3 mark.

materials captured a coveted Platinum Award in the recent MarCom award
competition, while the view book garnered a Gold Award, and Invitation Tuesday

Graduates of Alfred State
College's Internet-based health information technology (HIT) program, Class of
2008, achieved a 100 percent pass rate on the Registered Health Information
Technician (RHIT) national certification exam. This represents the fifth year
since 2000 that graduates achieved a 100 percent pass rate!

and drive experiences, a banquet was held to honor the folks in the after-market
