Lynn scored a goal in each half. Her first came 13 minutes into the game after a scramble in front of the net. Her second came after getting a pass from Holli Pierce (Livonia).
Mo Parks (Avoca) made five saves in net to record the shutout. ASC held a 11 to 8 shot advantage.

Jody Alvarez (women’s soccer), Kirt Zimniewicz (baseball), Alison Brotherton (softball), and Gaffel Hippolyte (track & field) will be inducted at 6 p.m. in the Orvis Activities Center auditorium.

Abby Komarc (Horseheads) got the Lady Pioneers on the board 12 minutes into the game after getting a pass from Holli Pierce (Livonia). Pierce scored her first of three goals five minutes later after getting a pass from Tara Scholla (Genesee Valley). Pierce made it 3-0 eight minutes later on a long shot after getting a pass from Danielle Henry (Arkport).

Jessie Smith (Fredonia), Shelby Winchester (Maple Grove), Audrey Rath (Medina), and Mo Parks (Avoca) were named to the first team while Jackie Matteson (Greece Arcadia) and Therese Hubbel (Bishop Kearney) were second team selections.

In a back and forth soccer match at Pioneer Stadium, Genesee CC advanced to the Region III Division III Pool A finals with a 7-6 penalty kick victory over Alfred State College. ASC and GCC both scored twice in the first half but neither team could find the back of the net in the second half or either of the two 10-minute overtime periods.
