Muhleisen and Frazer Named September Athletes of the Month

Women's soccer player Kali Muhleisen (Alfred Almond) and football player Colin Frazer (Woodbridge, VA) have been named the Alfred State athletes of the month for September.

Muhleisen has netted four hat tricks as the Lady Pioneer soccer team has raced out to a 10-1 record.  She leads the team with 44 points on 19 goals and six assists.  She has recorded points in nine of the blue & gold's eleven games.  Currently she is 4th in NJCAA in both goals and points on the year for the #4 ranked Pioneers.

Nine different Pioneers were credited with points as the Alfred State women's soccer team downed Cayuga CC 8-0. The #4 ranked blue & gold scored four goals in each half to improve to 10-1 (9-0 Region III Division III) on the year.

The Alfred State women's soccer team won their ninth straight with a 5-0 victory over Erie CC at Jim Ball Stadium in Orchard Park. The #4 ranked Lady Pioneers are now 9-1 on the season and 8-0 in Region III Division III play.

Riding an eight-game winning streak, the Alfred State women's soccer team moved up one spot in this week's NJCAA Division III poll. The blue & gold now hold the #4 spot in the top ten poll after holding the #5 spot the past two weeks.

The Lady Pioneers are now 8-1 on the season and 7-0 in Region III Division III play.  After losing their season opener to Monroe College (Bronx), Alfred has rattled off eight straight wins in which they have outscored opponents 31 to 3.

The Alfred State women's soccer team continued their solid play with a 5-0 win over Jamestown CC - Olean Campus. The Lady Pioneers are now 8-1 on the season and 7-0 in Region III Division III play.

Alfred scored all five of their goals in the first half and held a 42 to 2 shot advantage for the game.

Hannah Holmok (Alfred Almond) got the blue & gold on the board early with a goal 1:36 in.  Ally Vargeson (Addison) scored the next two goals at 7:24 and 35:55 to give the Pioneers a commanding 3-0 lead.  Her second was assisted by Anna Rath (Medina).
