Ayana Rhodes (Clermont, FL) added 14 points off the bench while Amanda Blake (Cuba Rushford) finished with eight points. Alfred State College sophomore basketball player Brittney Brooks (Elmira Free) has been named a 1st team pre-season NJCAA Division II All-American. Brooks is one of two Region III athletes to be chosen for the honor.
Alfred State College sophomore basketball player Brittney Brooks (Elmira Free) has been named a 1st team pre-season NJCAA Division II All-American. Brooks is one of two Region III athletes to be chosen for the honor.
Brooks returns for her sophomore campaign after averaging 18 points per game and nine rebounds last season. She also averaged three assists and three steals per game.
During the 2008-09 season, Brooks was named the Region III Division II player of the year, 1st team All-Region, and a third team NJCAA Division II All-American.

The Lady Pioneers close out the season with a 10-14 mark while the Lady Kats improve to 15-12 and will take on #1 seeded Genesee CC.
