The ASC Senior of the Year Awards are given to the male and female senior athletes who have competed in a sport for two years while achieving career excellence and exhibited good character.
The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) recently announced its Two-Year Colleges Women's Volleyball All-American Team, and Alfred State's Yurika Toyodome (Tokyo, Japan) was named to the First Team. This is the first time ever an Alfred State athlete has received this honor. Toyodome is the only NJCAA Division III player named to the First Team.

Alfred State College sophomores Yurika Toyodome (Tokyo, Japan) and Jenni Jerome (Syracuse/Westhill) have been named All-Americans by the Division III of the NJCAA. Toyodome was a first team selection while Jerome was named honorable mention.

Describe your experience at the National Championship Tournament. The tournament was really fun. Being around all the teams and seeing how other teams from around the country play was really exciting.
