Description: 

Students will explore diverse religious perspectives and ways of thinking and writing about religious themes and religious experience. Through the study of primary religious texts and secondary critical analyses, the student will develop a broad understanding of the diversity of religions that have shaped and continue to influence and direct the course of human civilization. Class sessions emphasize student discussion, and assignments encourage student reflection about the meaning and role of religion and religious diversity in their lives and those of others.
