Counseling can complement the academic life of students by helping them to gain personal insights and to more clearly define educational and career life plans. Counseling offers students the opportunity to explore their feelings and to discuss any concern in a confidential setting. All records and counseling communications are confidential and will not be released without the student’s written consent. Programs can also be developed for residence halls or classroom presentations on topics such as test anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, and relationships.
