Alfred State College Announces New 4-Year Program in Computer Security

Alfred State College officials are pleased to announce the approval by SUNY (State University of New York) and the NY State Education Department of a new bachelor of technology (BTech) program in computer security, Information Security and Assurance, which will begin accepting students for the spring 2009 semester.

ASC Holiday Buffet, Thursday, Dec. 4

Students enrolled in the Culinary Arts programs at the School of Applied Technology of Alfred State College will prepare a holiday buffet on Thursday, Dec. 4, from 5-7 p.m. in the student dining hall of the Culinary Arts Building on the Wellsville campus.  Cost is $15 (all inclusive) per person.

When Alfred State College completed its new $3.2M outdoor athletic facility, a problem remained: a facility that big is simply too big to photograph from the ground.

When Alfred State College completed its new $3.2M outdoor athletic facility, a problem remained: a facility that big is simply too big to photograph from the ground. Fortunately, a solution was available: class of 1980 alumnus John Casciani of Webster offered the services of his company's helicopter, a 2004 Enstrom 480B that seats up to five people.
