to be the next president of Alfred State College.
SUNY Interim Chancellor Dr. John B. Clark today nominated Dr. John M. Anderson
to be the next president of Alfred State College. The nomination will go before
the SUNY Board of Trustees for final approval at its next meeting, scheduled
for Jan. 15, 2008. If approved, Dr. Anderson's appointment would be effective
March 1, 2008.

completed requirements to be named an ASQ-certified quality engineer (ASQ-CQE)
by the Certification Board of the American Society for Quality.

level of professional recognition, indicating a proficiency in and a
comprehension of quality engineering principles and practices. Individuals who earn this certification are
allowed to use "ASC CQE" on their business cards and professional
correspondence.

prepare a holiday buffet on Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 5-7 p.m. in the student dining hall of the Culinary Arts Building
on the Wellsville campus.

two alumnae visitors to campus earlier this month to talk to the WINS Club
members during the 16th annual Women in the Field Dinner.
