Meet Bri Gerwitz

Bri explains that she joined Study in the South because "I have always done everything I can to help who I can and this was the perfect opportunity to help people in an area of need." Has she succeeded?   "It has been very heartwarming to meet the people we're helping and I will always remember their faces."

Bri liked working with Habitat the best because they had plenty of tools and supplies.  Her experience in New Orleans has been very valuable though.  Because of the unusual situation of being placed at a job site with 4 other students and no direct supervision, "we taught ourselves problem solving and built our skills."

Bri finds herself missing the fall colors and her family who she calls as much as she can.....and home cooked food.......and grilled cheese.
