Halloween on Campus

Tomorrow is the last open house.  If you haven't attended the first one or came to visit the campus yet I highly recommend you doing so.

Halloween on campus was very fun and I had a blast.  There were a number of events that took place.  On the night of Halloween, Alfred State offered a campus wide trick-or-treating extravaganza where students could dress up in costumes and go to the staff offices in each residence hall.  Even though I did not participate in this event, I saw a number of students walking down the street in costumes.  It was nice to see people in the Halloween spirit.  On Saturday, there was an event that I attended called "Boo Cancer" that was put on by the Up til Dawn club.  There was many people who dressed up and attended this event and there were many activities to participate in.  For example, you could watch Halloween (I didn't because that movie really scares me), and play games.  This club is my favorite to go to their events because the benefit a good cause (children with cancer).

There are many clubs that hold events here and there really is never a night where nothing is going on on campus.  I recommend that you participate in club activities at your time at Alfred because many of the events go to good causes.

Thank you for reading. Post again next week.
