Farewell, Sorrento

Ciao Tutti!

I'm sorry its been so long since my last blog, I have been so busy finishing up all my work for the end of this semester!

I am down to my final day here in Sorrento. I cannot believe how quickly this semester has passed! I remember when I was a sophomore at Alfred State College and I was wondering if it was really worth the money to go overseas and study in Sorrento, and I have definitely figured out an answer to that question: it is worth every penny.

I've had the learning experience of a lifetime, and I have so many amazing memories that I can take with me for the rest of my life. I have learned so much about foriegn culture, and it has made me into a much better person. I am slightly embarassed to say that I have now been to more countries than I have states, and I have been able to experience so many different cultures (Irish, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Austrian and Greek, just to name a few).

This study abroad experience has been absolutely wonderful, and if given the choice, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. It is sad to think that my semester abroad is already at an end, but I have had the time of my life here, and I will always have the fondest of memories from my travels in Europe.

If you ever get a chance to study abroad, do it! It will be worth its value a hundred times over, I promise. And if you are interested in Alfred State College's program in Sorrento, Italy, it is rapidly expanding, and is becoming more and more popular and successful every year!

This will be my last blog for the semester, tomorrow I will begin my long journey home, with a pit stop in London to see my fiancee Meg. Thank you so much for following my blog throughout the semester, and have a wonderful summer!

Here are some pictures of my fondest memories of my study abroad experience:
