Being A Student Ambassador

My name is Trina Rodebaugh and I am a Student Amabassador here at Alfred State College.  My first semester being an ambassador was last semester, Fall 2009.  There are many things we as ambassadors do to help the Admissions Office at Alfred State College.  As a student caller, other ambassadors and I call perspective students that are interested in attending Alfred State and inform and invite them to upcoming events such as Open House, Experience Alfred and just visiting in general.  We also infrom perspective students on updates on their application forms, etc.  As a tour guide, I give a one-hour walking tour to perspective students and thier familes during the week.  They get to see our campus as it is everyday, walk by all academic buildings, dining areas and go into a dorm room.  Tour guides also assist with open house programs which take place twice a semester.  As an E-Ambassador I submit blogs once a week to explain my life here at Alfred State College to perspective students.  I love helping out the Admissions Office, and enjoy everyone I work with!
