It seems like winter is never going to end. We actually had a snow day in the middle of March (what is that about mother nature?) All the snow was gone and it looked like spring had actually arrived, not the case because when I woke up the next morning 8 inches of snow was on the ground. I guess it is acceptable though because of the beautiful landscape that we have, especially with the snow covered trees. I cannot wait for all of the spring time events to come including hog wild day, hot dog day, and many outdoor recreation fun.

There are so many things to do in the spring. My favorite is the Asfraff symposium, they always have the most interesting speakers and many classes offer extra credit if you attend some of the events. The as symposium this year is about homelessness and throw away children. Many different events happen during this time including documentary films, speakers, and also a student question and answer session. I highly recommend that if you are on campus during one of these events then you should stop in and learn about the topic, it should be very interesting.

Thank you for reading. Post again next week.
