I'm sorry its been so long since my last blog, I have been so busy finishing up all my work for the end of this semester!
I am down to my final day here in Sorrento. I cannot believe how quickly this semester has passed! I remember when I was a sophomore at Alfred State College and I was wondering if it was really worth the money to go overseas and study in Sorrento, and I have definitely figured out an answer to that question: it is worth every penny.
Thank you so much for checking out my blog this week! For those of you who are interested in studying architecture at Alfred State College, or for current architecture students who are looking to study in Sorrento, Italy, you will be very interested in what I have to say!
This week I have some exciting news in terms of our architectural work here in Sorrento! For the past several weeks, Alfred State architecture students here in Sorrento have been slaving over a project for the main ferry port in Sorrento: Marina Piccola. Our class was split into three main groups, each with their own unique ideas on how to improve Sorrento's Marina Piccola. The business students here in Sorrento also aided the presentation by presenting practical business solutions to the problems of Marina Piccola to promote business and environmental sustainability.
Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my blog! This time I will tell you about my trip to Vienna, Austria! I had my usual travel buddy with me for this one: my fiancee Meg! We had such an amazing time in Austria!
Sorry for my lack of block posting lately, I have been quite busy working on our main architecture project for this semester! I will explain more about it over the next few days, and it is something I am very excited about!
Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my blog! My blog for today isn’t as exciting as the past few blogs I have posted – it is pretty hard to top Barcelona and Athens! But this trip was still a lot of fun for me.
I have all of my photos organized from our Athens trip, so now I can finally tell you all about it!
Athens was an amazing place. It had tons of awesome souvenier shops and stores, amazing food and restaurants (not as good as the ones in Sorrento, but they are pretty close!), and the amount of ancient ruins in the city made for the perfect end to our spring break.
Okay, now its time to tell you all about my second day in Barcelona! Our day started off a little shaky - We ran into some rainy weather. Luckily Barcelona has a really great place to go when it is raining outside: The Aquarium!
I am so sorry that it has been so long since my last post, due to the European ‘backpacking’ lifestyle that I lived for the past week, I simply could not find the means to post blogs during my travels of Europe. As I had promised in my last blog post, I will now take the opportunity to tell you all about my travels during spring break during my next several blog posts. I hope you enjoy hearing about my travels as much as I enjoyed living them!
