Women's Soccer
The Alfred State women's soccer team is continually competing for a spot in the Region III Division III Tournament. The Lady Pioneers have qualified for the postseason the past seven seasons and have made nine appearances since 2001.
In 2011, the team finished 12-5, was ranked as high as #7 in the NJCAA Division III poll and advanced to the Region III Tournament semifinals for the third straight season. Four Lady Pioneers were named All-Region and six were named All-WNYAC.
The new athletic complex, home for lady pioneer soccer, opened in 2008.

Latest Women's Soccer News
Four members of the Alfred State women's soccer team have been honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America in their end of the year awards. Kali Muhleisen (Alfred Almond), was named 1st team All-American while Krista DeCarlo (Bayshore/West Islip), and Maura Tuffey (Albany/Holy Names) were named 2nd team. The trio along with Hannah Holmok (Alfred Almond) were also named All-Northeast Region as well.
Alfred State freshmen soccer players Kali Muhleisen (Alfred Almond) and Hannah Holmok (Alfred Almond) have been named to the NJCAA Division III All-American team. Muhleisen was a 1st team selection while Holmok was named to the second team.
Women's soccer coach Anne Holmok and women's cross country coach Gary Moore have been named Region III Coaches of the Year by their peers following very successful fall season.
